The Engineering Bridge program is now available through the City Colleges of Chicago School of Engineering at all locations: Harold Washington College, Harry S Truman College, Olive-Harvey College, Richard J. Daley College, and Wilbur Wright College.

The Bridge program focuses on providing support during the key transitions in students’ educational journeys, from high school through community college to a four-year institution. It provides a math-intensive, chemistry-infused preparation for college courses.

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2026.

Bridge Eligibility and Requirements

  • High school students can apply during their senior year of high school (or upon completion of a high school equivalency program)
  • Current City Colleges students can apply if they have not completed any college credit classes
  • High school GPA: 1.5
  • ALEKS score: below 76
